| I think there's something wrong in portraying the terrorist as stupid, just to make him appear less threatening and therefore funnier. Most of the terrorists involved in 9/11, for example, were extremely well-educated and held no previous criminal records. Islamic fundamentalism is a serious threat and we should approach jokes about it with reasoned caution; this sketch is clearly enjoyed because it makes us feel less scared of the reality, but falsely so. |

Are you aware how frightfully low a percentage of the world's population dies from terror compared to other causes of death? It's mass hysteria. Stop mentioning it and it will stop mattering. Might be they kill 5000 people every once in a while, but it doesn't matter, outside of the families suffering, maybe. If not mentioned it wont be a problem to economy nor politics of any nation. |

| Actually, I don't find it very funny. The humour is not very sophisticated: catch-phrases, references to symbols of American culture e.t.c. + the accent consistently retreats back into it's US original. pretty lame really, surprising how many people find it hilarious. |
